Free Ice Cream
I love ice cream.
I need ice cream.
I deserve ice cream.
I have a ‘right’ to ice cream.
The local Dairy Queen has lots of ice cream.
I have no ice cream.
Most of us have no ice cream.
Why should the Dairy Queen have so much ice cream while the rest of us have no ice cream?
This is basically unfair.
I have a plan for us to get free ice cream.
Let’s all ‘occupy’ the Dairy Queen store and demand free ice cream.
Some might say, “There soon won’t be any Dairy Queens.”
Some might think that this will violate the freedom of the Dairy Queen owner.
President Barack Obama said yesterday that “Liberty must be balanced with fairness.”
Obama gets to decide what is ‘fair’. Let’s ask the President for free ice cream.
If Obama decides that it is ‘fair’ for us to get free ice cream then:
- The greedy, wealthy Dairy Queen owner must give us free ice cream.
- In the interest of ‘fairness’ The Dairy Queen owner must forfeit his or her own liberty.
- If this seems unfair to the Dairy Queen owner, then that’s too bad.
- Barack was elected by a majority and ‘the majority rules’.
Now some may say that free contraceptives are different from free ice cream. They are different.
But, the principals of liberty and fairness are always the same.
Our forefathers wrote, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
Now that we have acknowledged that life and liberty are gifts from God, why don’t we see what God has to say about our demands for free ice cream from the Dairy Queen?
God says, “Thou shalt not covet.” What shall we do?
- “Would we rather have free ice cream or free lives?”
- “Would we rather be ruled by God or Obama?”
- “Will we take a bold stand for Life?”
- “Will we take a bold stand for Liberty?”
- “Do we understand that we have a right to pursue happiness; but, happiness is not something anyone can demand?”
What does God say about demanding free stuff from thy neighbor?
God says, “Thou shalt not covet.”
What does God say to the radical baby killing feminists who are pushing Obama to demand that all employers provide ‘free’ contraceptives and abortion pills?
God says, “Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not covet.”
Barack Obama’s Secretary of Health and Human Services is a very wicked woman named Kathleen Sebelius.
Kathleen is a partner with Barack in their recent government attack on religious freedom. They are attacking the Roman Catholic Church in the name of “a woman’s ‘right’ to ‘free’ contraceptives”.
This is a declaration of war by radical ‘femi-Nazis’ against the freedom of religion. Their typical shrill battle cry is, “The Catholic Church is attacking women’s health care.” I might ask, “Are babies a disease?” I might ask, “Who is really on the attack?”
Clues to understanding Kathleen Sebelius and her motivations can be found in these following quotes which are excerpts from Wikipedia:
“Sebelius is "staunchly pro-choice."[63] .............Sebelius, a pro-choice rights advocate, has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood and they have conducted fundraising activity on her behalf.[68]
Sebelius is a member of the Catholic Church; in early March 2009, Archbishop Raymond F. Burke, prefect for the Apostolic Signatura, the Holy See's highest court, declared that Sebelius should not approach the altar for Communion in the United States, and he noted that, "after pastoral admonition, she obstinately persists in serious sin"[69] In 2003, 2005, 2006, and again in 2008, Sebelius vetoed legislation that would have limited abortions in Kansas.....................................
Kansas City Archbishop Joseph Fred Naumann asked that Sebelius no longer receive Holy Communion because of her position on abortion. Naumann criticized Sebelius for vetoing HS SB 389.[71] The action received mixed reviews in the Catholic press.[72][73][74]
In September 2005, physician George Tiller won a reception at Cedar Crest, the official residence of the Governor, at an auction benefiting the Greater Kansas City Women's Political Caucus.[75][76] Pro-life commentators in Kansas have publicly criticized Sebelius's HHS nomination, accusing her of taking campaign donations from Tiller, who was the medical director of an abortion clinic in Wichita.[77] Tiller, who is credited with some 60,000 abortions, was one of Sebelius's largest campaign donors. On May 31, 2009, Tiller was shot through the eye and killed, by militant Scott Roeder, as Tiller served as an usher during the Sunday morning service at his church in Wichita.”

President Barack Obama said yesterday that “Liberty must be balanced with fairness.”
Barack maintains that He gets to decide what is ‘fair’. He has decided that in the interest of ‘fairness’, every female employee must be provided ‘free’ contraceptives by the insurance companies who insure Roman Catholic Entities.
It doesn’t matter to some Americans that the right to religious liberty has been usurped by Obama.
What’s next? Will the Baptists be forced by our government to serve ‘free’ whiskey at the church social?
Will the Jews be forced by our government to provide ‘free’ barbequed pork to everyone who works for them?
Will the Muslims be forced by our government to serve ‘free’ ham sandwiches?
Our constitution guarantees our God given rights.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Always challenge tyrants who sell their tyranny by the deceptive twisting of words, baiting their traps with ‘free’ stuff, and usurping God’s gifts to you.
What they sell as ‘fairness’ is not ‘fair’.
What they sell as ‘free’ will steal your ‘freedom’.
What they call an ‘attack’ by others is actually camouflage for an ‘attack’ by them.
Always remember that freedom of conscience is the most basic freedom of all. You can deny someone physical freedom by locking them in prison; but you can’t control their thoughts or beliefs.
In the 1600s John Bunyan was arrested and jailed repeatedly by the tyrants of England for ‘preaching without a license’ at ‘unlawful meetings’.
While in prison Bunyan wrote ‘Pilgrims Progress’.
The American Tyrant, Barack Obama has no idea what kind of people he is trying to subdue. Be of good cheer. Jesus has overcome the world.
